When we lived in London from 2015 to 2017, I had a blog called Nick in Shoreditch (the part of East London where we lived. It is very long and unfortunately unindexed. It contains musings about British politics and theatre, travelogues, thoughts about my art and others and much more. You can get to it by clicking here.
A few years before the move to London, I tried starting another blog. Lots of thoughts about politics, theater and the Mets. You can get to it by clicking here. Embedded within it are essays about the 2008 campaign for Montclair Town Council, which are collected separately and can be accessed here. It was supposed to go on with stories about actually serving on the Council, but I never got around to it.
When we returned from London, I began to run a UU Congregation at Montclair covenant group called Art & Soul, a smallish group that met monthly to discuss art. we began a Sketchbook project, which involved exchanging sketchbooks at each meeting after showing what we had each done and them creating something new in book we received in response to the prior works in the book. When the pandemic made meeting problematic, I created a website which I am still working on. You can link to the whole website here, but if you just want to see the sketchbooks (which is most of what is on the site at this point, click here.
